Every Family Has Stories Worth Keeping
Every 3.2 seconds
someone in the world develops dementia
Names fade, faces blur, and life stories slip away before anyone can capture them. Most tools for memory support are generic, expensive, and hard to use, especially for the people who need them most: elderly adults and the caregivers who love them.

Why I Built Recall Aid
I’m Truth Mjumbe, the founder of Recall Aid. I started Recall Aid because I watched my own family lose stories that should have lived forever. My grandmother had a lifetime of wisdom, humor, and history, and by the time I understood its value, much of it was already gone.
I built Recall Aid to make sure other families don’t have to go through that. The technology exists to preserve someone’s voice, their stories, and the way they see the world, but until now it wasn’t accessible to the people who need it most.
Recall Aid uses empathetic AI to help families capture, reflect on, and preserve meaningful memories in a way that feels natural, private, and respectful. No complicated setup. No technical skills required. Just a conversation.
We believe AI should support care, not replace it. We use it only where it adds meaningful value for families, and we approach that work with transparency, respect, and a real sense of responsibility.

Are You a Caregiver?
If you’re helping a parent, grandparent, or loved one, Recall Aid was built for you, too. You can set up an account on their behalf, guide sessions together, and preserve memories that matter to your entire family.
