Recall Aid is operated by Memory AI LLC. This page is how you exercise your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

We do not load Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook) Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok Pixel, or any other advertising or retargeting pixel on recallaid.com or app.recallaid.com. The full set of analytics providers we do use is named in our Privacy Policy under Tracking Technologies.

How to Opt Out

You have the right under the CPRA to submit an opt-out request and to have that request recorded. You can opt out in any of the following ways:

1. Browser Signal (Global Privacy Control)

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request for your session. Most privacy-focused browsers (Brave, DuckDuckGo, Firefox with the DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials extension, Opt-Meowt) can be configured to send GPC. When we detect GPC, we suppress optional analytics on recallaid.com for that session.

You can verify your browser is sending GPC at globalprivacycontrol.org.

2. Email Request

Email support@recallaid.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share Request" and the email address you use with Recall Aid. We respond within 15 business days as required by the CPRA.

3. Authorized Agent

You may designate an authorized agent to submit this request on your behalf. We may require written proof of authorization.

What Happens After You Opt Out

After we process your request, we will not begin sharing your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the future without your express opt-in consent. Because we do not currently engage in such sharing, your opt-out is preventative.

Opting out does not delete your account or your memories. To request deletion, see the Your Rights section of our Privacy Policy.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CPRA rights, including denial of service, charging a different price, or providing a different level of quality.
